Leverton was founded in 2012 by a group of scientists looking to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence for semantic analysis. The company then transformed from a laboratory experiment to a robust, AI-powered data extraction and contract analytics platform.
From the very beginning, it was founded on the principles of turning unstructured content into structured data, regardless of the look and feel of the source information. It set out to create proprietary and patented machine and deep learning algorithms, its own optical character recognition (OCR) engine, pattern recognition, natural language processing, and grammatical syntax structure detection to deliver a state-of-the-art experience for its customers.
In 2019, Leverton was acquired by MRI Software, LLC, a global leader in real estate software solutions with offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. Now part of the MRI family, Leverton has become MRI Contract Intelligence and the team is continuing its mission to help businesses worldwide make smarter decisions using better data.
